Don Brown (R), Senate Candidate, North Carolina
Some months back, myself and the team at the Weekly Roundtable Podcast had the opportunity to sit with and interview Don Brown(R) who had just recently declared his candidacy for the U.S. Senate seat from North Carolina. Given that I have been a resident of the state of North Carolina for some six years now, the interview was of particular interest to me. After our interview, I wanted to get to know this candidate a little better. After all, I cannot consider myself just a disinterested media personality, I’m a North Carolina resident, and he’s vying for the position of my Senator.
In the following weeks, I have had multiple opportunities, to speak with Don. Whether it was on the phone, through an E-Mail, or in person, not a single question or concern I raised went unanswered. Over these exchanges, I not only had the chance to know the candidate, but to better understand the man behind the campaign. I felt we needed to speak face to face.
Service, faith, family, honor.
I met with Don during a fundraising event and he was gracious enough to give me an hour of his time. With cameras rolling and mic turned on, Don and I had a spirited conversation, and it was not what i was expecting. I realized quickly that I was not speaking with a politician…I was speaking to someone who was just as genuinely concerned about his country as I am. I am a pretty damned good judge of people, especially when someone is trying to blow smoke, but that wasn’t the case with Don. He is a genuine as they come.

Speaking for myself, and as Co-Founder of the Liberty First Foundation, I am proud to endorse Don Brown for United States Senator from North Carolina.
As a former U.S. Navy JAG officer with over two decades of dedicated service, Don brings a profound commitment to duty and the rule of law that is sorely needed in Washington.
His time in uniform, defending our nation’s interests and upholding military justice, honed his unyielding adherence to the U.S. Constitution—a document he has sworn to protect and has actively defended as a constitutional lawyer against overreaches like unconstitutional mandates.
