Politics aside, it hurts my heart that any leader of any state would resort to such short-sighted rhetoric under the false pretense of wanting to “protect” our children.

Before my transformation into a gun-rights activist, I used the internet for normal people’s things. Today I was reflecting on the U.S. Appeals court conceding that the 2nd Amendment allows for the open carrying of a gun, it felt like a victory, kind of sort of like one. Well honestly more like a re-affirmation of obviousness than a victory, but still it wasn’t a defeat. Or was it?

We believe in the rule of law, that gives Police and Prosecutors great power to enforce the laws of our nation, but when that same power is used to deprive citizens of their Constitutional or statutory rights, it destroys the public trust in the very institutions that form the fabric of our Republic.
Talking with the “other side”
Many people say that those who are anti-gun and anti-gun rights simply can’t be reasoned with; that no discussion is possible because they reject logic and reason. Therefore the people themselves are rejected. However, would it surprise you to learn that that’s likely the exact same perception “they” have of us who firmly believe in the value and promise of the Second Amendment and firearm ownership in general?
