Sadly, the daily stories of Americans defending their lives and countless others by exercising this right against the evil predators among us are rarely promoted, the message doesn’t fit the analogy the media portrays
When I enter a gun store, it’s typically because I have a firearm or some gear that I am interested in. I plan to spend some dough but the euphoria of getting that certain product in my hands will be well worth it.
We spend thousands of dollars on ammunition, accessories, tactical gear, range time, and firearms. We spend countless hours refining our skills, doing our best to punch the X in the center of our targets.
Let’s be honest, not many of us like stepping out of our comfort zone. I know it’s not my favorite thing. But sometimes in life, in order to get things done, that is just what you have to do. Guess it beats a sharp stick in the eye, so there is that.
It was late December 1971, and tensions in the city were high. While everyone was used to a certain level of crime being perpetrated throughout the 5 boroughs, one rash of incidents had many on edge.
This past Saturday I had the opportunity to participate in an Urban Rifle training course offered by Sheriff Scott Nichols Sr. and the Franklin County Sheriff’s Department up here in Maine.
There are times when force is required to handle a situation, there are times when wit will accomplish the same, but when the two are combined with a touch of humor, it makes for a story worth telling…
When entering a gun store, my advice is for people to keep their ego in check, mind their business, conduct themselves in a professional manner and keep all guns cased and unloaded with the breach locked open. For guns that do not lock open, a chamber flag is a nice touch.
August 20, 2018 – Vestal, NY – This is an amended transcript of a speech, made by M V Consulting Inc and Liberty First Foundation NY Chapter president Michael “Vass” Vasquez to the members of the Americans for Restoring the Constitution (AFRTC) and the general public at the Vestal Public Library.
From September through April 1787-1788, The Federalist Papers were written and published in New York newspapers. These editorials explain the new Constitution, including what the different articles and clauses mean. And they encouraged the people of New York State to ratify the Constitution.
